Honoring First Year Teachers

The PROMISE Awards are made possible through the generosity of RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company Foundation and are presented to outstanding first year teachers from Winston-Salem/Forsyth County elementary, middle, and high schools who exhibit Potential, Responsibility, Optimism, Motivation, Ingenuity, Sensitivity, and Excellence in the classroom. The teachers are nominated for the award by their principals.

The 4th Annual PROMIISE Awards for 2009-2010will be presented at the STAY Banquet on Tuesday, April 6.

3rd Annual “Teacher of PROMISE” Awards

Forsyth Education Partnership is pleased to announce that the third annual “Teacher of PROMISE” award winners were announced at the STAY (Support Teachers All Year) banquet on Monday, April 20, 2009 at 5:00 PM.  The event was held at Old Town Baptist Church, 4836 Shattalon Drive, Winston-Salem, NC.
